My Reading Goal Reflection

I am learning to think and talk about what I read. I will know I have achieved this when I can synthesise texts by analysing texts, comparing and contrasting and combining new knowledge with prior knowledge. This piece of learning shows my reading assessment that I had to do. I am proud of this because I have achieved my Reading Goal. I have now achieved My reading goal to improve my synthesis reading comprehension strategy. My next step is to infer meanings of phrases in texts I read.

I am proud of this because I am almost finished stage 8. My next step in learning is to pass all of stage 8 when I next get tested.

My Inquiry Reflection

My inquiry goal is to evaluate the effectiveness of my contribution of assisting the critical areas in Canterbury after the February quake. We are learning to create an earthquake proof building, we will know we have achieved this when we have made a model building that can withstand a magnitude 7 earthquake. This piece of learning shows my inquiry groups published design for our earthquake proof building. I am proud of this because I am making progress on my inquiry goal and my learning habit goal. My next step in learning is to get consent so we can start to build our earthquake proof model building.
